Engineering
Talking to people... some are planning to go into plumbing or being an electrician. Not that there's anything wrong with those jobs, but we're talking about people with engineering skills here...
When I was at school 35 years ago, everbody seemed to be planning to go into something like engineering. Those who chose to do Arts-based subjects were thought to be mad, if they were capable of doing science-based things.

With less than a week to go to the end of production, all the cars going round the final assembly track are 206 SWs (Estates). For the petrolheads among you, contrary to some rumours 2 or 3 months ago, the SW will no longer be made in Europe after Ryton closes. Its 207 replacement should be out in 2008. (Ryton, 7 Dec 2006 - you didn't expect currency from this weblog, did you?)
